Comings and Goings in Dean of Students Office

Last semester witnessed a major loss for the Dean of Students Office, with the leaving of Danielle Weaver, Associate Director of Residence Life, in November, and of Ben Foster, Assistant Dean and Director of Residence Life, in December. Since then, Resident Directors John Grundy ’14 and Abigail Smith ’14 have been responsible for housing and resident life, while a committee consisting of six staff members handle all issues related to student conduct. This arrangement is only temporary, as the College is seeking for two candidates to replace Weaver and Foster. 

Chris Lemasters, who used to work at Pennsylvania College of Technology as the Men’s Basketball Coach and Coordinator of Residence Life, has recently been hired to become the director of Residence Life. He is to start his job in March while the College continues to look for another assistant dean in the spring and summer.
